This is a massive volume that is really designed for veterinary use. but is perfect for pet owners with some knowledge of the field. It provides fast access to key information on diagnosing and treating diseases and health/behavioural conditions for dogs and cats and provides a comprehensive, quick reference book. I can see that where you are treating animals in a busy practice, this could be an excellent reference volume to help you treat cats and dogs effectively.

Topics are organised alphabetically – everything from aggression, through ear mites to vomiting is covered. Each topic has its own page so, for example, Compulsive Disorders in Dogs has a definition; followed by the systems affected, genetics, causes, risk factors, the diagnosis and treatment.
